A different sort of Call of Cthulhu game inspiration
« on: January 19, 2014, 04:46:02 AM »
Today, I learned that there is a Lovecraft-inspired Fiddler on the Roof parody-musical entitled A Shoggoth on the Roof. Published by the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society, it is credited to a member of the society who is referred to only as "He Who (for legal reasons) Must Not Be Named".

The songs have been recorded.

They're on YouTube.

EDIT: OH WOW

Does anyone make fishmen in dancing poses?  ;D

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

I hate myself for liking "If I were a Deep One" so much. That is hilarious.

Heard If I Were a Deep One some time ago, it's hilarious!  :D
Though I'd never heard the whole musical.

Speaking of HPL-inspired parody music, have you heard The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets? They've got lots of Mythos song, and at least two full albums (one of which is a concept album).
