Stunning! Has that been done for Nick or is it for your own collection?
So many projects..... so little time.......

Wow, thanks guys, I didn't think it would get that much attention.

Any more pics?

You want a couple of different angles? I'll take a couple of shots when I've got a few spare minutes. The back is mainy covered by the cloak, so there isn't a huge amount to see there.

Has that been done for Nick or is it for your own collection?

Oh, this baby's all mine. Once in a blue moon a model really grabs you and this is one of those times. I love the casual, yet martial pose, with the spear just tucked into the arm, but not actually held. The way his hand is rested on the sword, ready for use but not actually in use. It's a real beaut.

Brilliant work, excellent figure now can you do another couple of dozen for a SAGA game ;)

Hah! I counted my mighty Saga army last night and it consists of 17 models (not including this one, he's just for lookin' at). The work continues ...
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

Nick at Northstar informs me the model is no longer available .... but he's considering making it available if there's enough interest!

Now this is top painting. One of the best work i've ever seen on a 28mm historical figure.

Lovely paint work and a very nice figure.

I emailed Northstar today and the miniature is still available if anyone wants it:

Hey, that's great stuff - they've even kept the name Cormac (which is what I decided to call him).

Damn good price as well, for such an iconic model.

Hey Cubs,

Really great paint job on the Celtic Hero-just saw it on the SD forum and recognised it as one of yours... More compliments over there too!! ;)

btw, I have still not been officially back to THAT OTHER forum since they rejigged it. Have you fully kicked the habit yet?

SD?

No, I pretty much just mooch about here these days, trying to annoy the mods into locking threads.
