I'm slowly starting a project of painting an Adeptus Mechanicus army. I've already bought a lot of knights and tanks and had infantry and artillery at home. It will be slow as I'm a slow painter and also as I'm painting other things at the same time, but I hope to keep painting and posting pics here. Hope you like it.
My first miniature painted is this Warlord that I own since the nineties but I haven't painted till now. I'm more a wargamer than a painter, so bear with me.

Cheers,

Ps. More pics at my blog: http://javieratwar.blogspot.com.es/2014/01/warlord-titan-mk-ii.html

 :) Nice one. War griffons?

I'd decided to go with War Griffons meself, way back. Then I opened the 5th ed nid codex and it said their homeworld was eaten by hive fleet leviathan. Bah.

Oh well. Plenty of detachments off-word at the time. ;)

Cheers guys.
Vermin, it's inspired on an illustration of a War Hound from the War Gripphons but it is not one of them. I'm using the colours blue, yellow and grey for all my army, including the Imperial Guard infantry.

Ah, gotcha. :) Good color choices regardless. ;) Particularly like the shade of yellow against the grey.

Here it is my first infantry company, a Tech-Guard Titan Defence Company with three detachments and one HQ. You can see how I paint them and final result. Next a Knight Paladin Company.

Well, here it is a Knight Paladin House-hold.

And what I got so far:

You can see more pictures at my blog: http://javieratwar.blogspot.com.es/2014/02/epic-knight-paladin-house-hold.html

Now I am going to paint some things for the Pendraken painting comp just for fun, so this Adeptus Mechanicus project will be hold until next month.

Cheers,

These are great! Are those all metal Knights? That's madness!

Love that 'in between' Warlord. Always was sad I didn't get my hands on one. I've got lots of beetle-backs and their upgrades, and a couple of the Epic 40,000 ones, but the in-between escaped me!

All life is an experiment.

These knights are resin proxies and not produced by GW.
Yes I think this Warlord is the most beautiful...and metal. You can still found it on Ebay, for a price though.

Lovely. Who makes those Knights? Or did you get 'em made up especially? I'd love a few of them.

This is what I did: I registered in the Epic French forum and sent a private message to Thom, the guy who makes them. He usually answers in three days but I don't know if he sells to everybody as I believe he made them for himself. He has non Paladin, Errant and Lancers, at 45 € per 7 (a company). They have four head variants and come with their own resin sculpted bases (I didn't use them).
Good luck.
