Rohan in 15 mm?

The whole proxies for Rohan thread got me thinking/wondering.

Who would people go with for Rohan in 15 mm?

I might do something crazy and go back and try to recreate the whole LOTR thing in 15 mm in the future.

Normans are very popular stand ins for Rohan.

Dark Ages Franks could work well as well. iirc they look from the films is loosely based around a mishmash of Viking and Frank styles, so if that's the look you're going for those would be my first port of call.

I like the look of Byzantine troops as  you can get a lot of bow armed cav models as there army had  lots of bow armed cav in them .that's what we use ATM .in are games ,
