Scratchbuilt Macro lens
« on: January 26, 2014, 09:34:40 AM »
Hello LAFers!

Recently i bought some LED rings, and i made a macro lens to photograph my models. I really should have done it a long time ago, it works splendidly!

Read the article here!

Just some LAF only photos:

That was before, slighly edited:

and that was after!! NOT edited, and even with the wrong environmental lights. But still much much better for a 15mm.

And i am sure that with an appropriate tripod an light the results could be awesome.

Any comment is welcome! :D
Cheers

Fantastic! All I need is to find someone who's throwing a slide projector away. Seriously though, I love a bit of scavenging/salvaging, and this is a real great build idea. Great work!
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Not all of us have Facebook, however. So your posts here are appreciated too.  ;)

Facebook notifies only a smal portion of the fans for each update, so it is NOT an alternative to the forum. I decided to expand my territories because with fb i can reach non-forum users, but it will be kept parallel to forums!
