« on: January 29, 2014, 10:49:11 AM »
A couple of new figures to add to our fantasy/horror ranges

The Batt-man is now available & I managed to get some paint on the skeleton batsman so thought I would post him too

The White Wizard a generic wizard for our fantasy adventurers range

The start of a new range of Oriental Legends which will focus on the myths & legends of the orient

Tsukumogami,  in Japanese folklore are animate household objects which are said to gain life when the object becomes a hundred years old

Figures available now from www.cpmodelsminiatures.co.uk

Not sure if I ought to post these sort of news items in the commercial section now so if that is the case can the moderator please move it & let me know

Brilliant!

Just need to work out how to use them now.
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

Use them for a "Sorceror's Appentice" moment in the Wizard's workshop. It's nice to have models for Spell Effects. These coould be Spell Backfires. Or for a "When Furniture Attacks" encounter. For IHMN or FOKF games they could just be props in the lab. Fiendish Creations, etc.

These look great.

100% going to have to buy the girlfriend the Tsukumogami at some point.

How does the Bakemono scale with other 28mm models? I am looking for something to use as a KOW ogre.

Also random comment your Shaolin monks look fantastic. Do you have any intention of extending to other Martial arts?

Glad you like them :)

The Bakemono is 24mm approx to the eye line, so he is about shoulder height to human sized 28mm figures probably a bit small for an ogre more goblin sized I would say

Yes I would love to do some more martial artists in the future, not sure when though as I have other things in the works at present

I see the Tsukumogami as a bit of quirky fun and if they prove popular might ask PF to do some more as he loves doing the Japanese themed figures

As to how you use them I think they are best used a some type of spirit which could either help or hinder players relative to the type of object they are & I think this ties in quite well with the actual Japanese myths

Yeah a little small for what I am after. Give me a shout if you make some larger Japanese Mythical creatures.

The little guys just remind me of something straight out of a Ghibli film.

If you ever get round to it would love to see some Muay Thai guys. Either with the full gloves and armbands or with the rope wraps. I imagine a few people might pick up the Shaolin as part of a Fist full of Kung Fu.

Btw forgot to mention BatMan is fucking inspired.

Hi Commander yep Batt-man's out sorry you had to wait for him :)

Carlos, Hopefully some of these releases should be suitable for a Fistful of Kung Fu and the Shaolin monks are perfect for it

More martial artists are defiantly on the cards just not sure what yet, I would like to do some Ninja but maybe they have been done to death already

Hi Mark, cheers for the update. Personally, while i do love ninjas there are quite a few of them out there either in current production or oop via ebay. What we're missing are modern hong kong triad gang members (see sleeping dogs xbox game for inspiration)& modern kung fu practitioners. I love a good yellow jumpsuit me ;)

Cheers
