there was an interval for tea and delicious cakes from the WI before Sir Gilbert Hill's Gala Field Day moved on to the introduction of some reinforcements to the body of the Volunteers. These included the recently renovated GVR Mk1 Armoured Scout Car (Steam):

The steam scout car is superb. Very lovely work, although the Morris Dancers may upset younger viewers?
