Thanks both, the tassels are from Front Rank, 17c French accessories iirc

Fantastic painting with some superb.  ;D  I love the face, although he looks a bit like Bill Wyman after a particularly bad night on the town.  :D :D

lol

Stuart does have a very unique style - lots of little striations... Like the brush strokes on an oil painting, or the threads in a tapestry.
It's an approach which suits the period wonderfully, but can suggest quite lived-in faces ;)

Love them Stuart. Interested to note how small the TAG figures are. They look quite titchy even against the Perry plastics - which aren't the biggest 28mm figures in the world.

The TAG minis are on the slender side, ( with the exception of the drummer) the latest Tudor range is less so but it is noticeable, especially as the Perry's are not especially chunky.

I do like a lived in face - I think it's entirely possible Bill Wyman may have been present in the Tudor wars !

They fit together quite well I think. It's not like trying to fit many of Front Ranks offerings with the Perry stuff.
