I have been labouring hard at the campaign setting and scenarios up until now, so not much in the way of paint. I hope to bring out something Matakishi style that could be used for whatever system people fancy.

And yes, there will be paint as well!

W.O.W. I had totally forgotten about Dinoriders, or the bad guys that were reptile-men. Their creators must have been geeks like us.
Actually I already was a little too old to get totally into it, but I was very fascinated by the weirdness of the whole concept.

from about the same time as those five-elements animal warriors with the heat sensitive adesive on their armour. Just after Blackstar, basically.  8)

A shot of my Saurian Mercenary Company: The Pink Primates

Group Shot

A Merc Squad, complete with Squad AT Weapon and Squad Sharpshooter. The NCO has a hand cannon and chainsword (in case I want to get my RT on) whilst the privates wield "Hoo-Man" Assault rifles.

The CO of the Company, General Lilensternus, known as "Thin Lizzy" by his enemies because of his slight (for a Saurian) build. He wields a weapon called a "Pow Fist", it's great at opening beer.

Thin Lizzy's prized dino, known as "Devil", it has a thing for eating monkeys.

More to come, just hunting for bits.

I saw some of that work previously, very brilliant! Makes my work look like sh**... But I think her work is maybe too high tech for my Saurians.

I am almost done with my first dino and will give it a black undercoat too see how things work out without all the clashing colours and parts. Maybe it will work out.

I have been looking for a shovel though  lol

OK, first off, sorry if this update is a bit messy, but I haven't slept for 36 hours. I have been up all night sorting through my leadpile for bits.

I have trying to get a bit order into it all, but I guess it will never happen 100%

So I put on some bits to my Dinosaurs and used some bluetack (white) to try out some different things.

At the beginning of this project I wanted to stay clear of as many GW parts as possible, but as it turns out, a huge part of my collection is mainly made up of GW miniatures and bits, so ind the end I stopped trying and just added some stuff I thought looked good.

Most of this stuff is not glued on yet, so if this really look like garbage I can always alter on it.

For the bigger guy here I have added some ancient Rhino APC parts as armor on the sides (I am thinking to connect this with a belt under the belly), I put on a search light up front, some Copplestone power armor arm became sensors on the head.

I am beginning to think this set up will work out for him and I might glue everything in place and begin with the greenstuffing.

Any objections?  ;D

The other Dino is almost done.... Though I might change a bit on it.

I am beginning to think that the hightech/lowtech opposites look pretty good, so hightech on the guns and the rider and low tech on the leather belt holding the gun and I have added a shovel and a wooden crate. So now I am beginning to thing the saddlebag on the side is a bit out of place, so I consider removing that one and maybe go look for one more small wooden box or similar.

Right side - Modern saddlebag...

Left side - Wooden crate...

I have greenstuffed on the last one, so the different parts are beginning to fit together. The boiler stuff on the back also have some wooden boxes and a blanket rolled up, so again a bit on the low tech side.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks.

I love all the 'hi-tech/low-tech' thing.
It looks great!

Looking forward to seeing you tie it all together with greenstuff and then paint.

Looks terrific Jonas!!!

I've been tampering with my dinos as well, but haven't had the time to photograph anything.  :D

Weeehoo I almost finished painting a dino!

A recon hadrosaur

This build is an autosaur meaning that it can be handled and counted on without the need of a rider

Cool with the gang!

Modified this one

'Hiya Curtis! Look at my new ride!'

And lastly I made a pack dinosaur:

The first scenario in the booklet will need three pack dinoes (or counters).
