Ronin project

I've got some miniatures for Ronin few months ago, but I started some work on them yesterday. I hope to finish all of them till the end of next week, so we could start playing

Now monks cloths are almost finished (I have to do last highlight)

Almost done. Except bases I have to finish metalic colours, but only after coat of matt varnish.

I really like them but... i think you maybe overdid with the yellow, it's too white in the highlights for my tastes!

Maybe a little bit. Pictures false colours a little bit and in real yellow is more worn-out. For this project I have wanted my miniatures will be realy stand out on the table

Starting was the hardest part (I've been dealaing this for 3-4 months, when Ronin was published). Figurines are lovely, so painting them goes fast.


Now I have to make some suitable terrain. I have small table (it's 70x70 cm) and started to build some small houses even before I got my miniatures:




I'd like to make them realy poor looking like in 7 Samurai.

I've found my old garden turtle converted into mighty sculpture. I belive it would be great for Ronin
