BTD Von Rundstedt & Aritzan Germans
« on: 06 February 2014, 03:04:01 AM »
Newly Painted Figs for my Bolt action army.  I love the character figs from BTD granted the Field Marshall is a little to high up on the food chain to be running around with infantry but I think it gives the platoon some character. The Artizan Figs will be my vets...I did my best with the pea dot.  Granted the dots arent really that big or in that pattern but on a 28mm fig I think it worked better as a representation than the actual true-life pattern.

You can always use him as a very characterful objective. But great paintjob!

Great painting! Especially the peadot!

I have the Rundstedt miniature too, he's really big!

Rundstedt himself was pretty tall, IIRC, so I guess it works?

Nice painting in any case!

Lovely painting.
He looks more like DeGaulle to me, but kudos for the paintwork  :)

Kudos for the excellent paintjob!!
You even painted the Gardelitzen on the tunic collar which he a pparently favoured.
there is however a tiny flaw that scratches my eyeballs in an otherwise impeccable work
if You care to take a look at the greatcoat collar
