28mm French Resistance
« on: 17 June 2008, 08:48:58 AM »
I thought I'd have a go at some 28mm figures, the first are a couple of resistance fighters, one standing on guard over another preparing to get the radio out.

They are very good, how much sculpting have you done in the past. Really like the face on the first one. It looks like it would be a joy to paint. Show us more please

I have done a fair amount of 25mm figures, these are amongst my first 28/30mm figures and I was surprised how much difference a couple of mm can make to style and detail.

I'll show more when they are done, but what to do?

Excellent.  How about some women?  There is a real lack of women with weapons in the Pulp field.  There are a few trenchcoated women with sten guns here and there but most 28mm figures are from the 1920s, gangsters' molls etc.  What we need are Thirties/Forties ladies with pistols in their hands.

Very Nice,
They really look like they could be my relatives. Of course, we're German Swiss so that isn''t possible - they are not willing to die for various imperial causes.

Good looking figures.
I'd go for more (French) resistance figures as they can also be used for other periods if you keep 'em generic enough.
