Harlequin Sci-FI?
« on: 15 February 2014, 06:50:51 PM »
Hello

Is there any source where it is possible to see a list and pictures of the Harlequin Sci-Fi miniatures?

I am aware that they are now sold through Black Tree Designs and I have bought some of the ones they have available.

But I am pretty sure they don't have the complete range available at the moment and I haven't been able to find out much more about the range.

I will be thankfull for any info I can get.

There were some by Kev White which were really nice sculpts.I think they were supposed to be Star Trek types. Then Paul Muller and Daniel Pacey did some Space Marine types too.

Might have a flyer with pictures on some place.

You can see one of the sci-fi troopers on the front of the catalog on the link below Jonas.

googleing Harlequin Starfleet Marines or Harlequin Babylon 5 gives only some images and many images redirecting to here.
I never found any Harlequin Miniatures catalogue online, fantasy or sci-fi.  :/

ages back I got about 30 harlequin sci-fi blisters at £1 each, didnt get that trooper shown got a lot with small arms and shotgun looking weapons, plus some in heavy suits that look like power amour but not like a GW marine bulkiness. none of what I got human wise is listed by black tree design. mine are part painted but i could dig them out if you want some pics? much nicer than those rim troopers shown.

Thanks guys, I am very interested to see pictures of models not currently available or pictures of painted models.

I have the Space Dwarfs and the Power Armoured Starship Marines, which is available right now. I plan to paint them soon (hopefully).

The Star Fleet federation heavy infantry that Kev white sculpted for them were really nice. Had Star Trek the motion picture style hard suits on.

the ones I have are those federation ones with the armour and the pistols and shotgun like guns, plus a couple of what must be vacuum suits or similar. didn't realise Kev sculpted them, I'll try and remember to ask him later about the rest of them see if knows if Black Tree or someone else got them.

Black Tree has them. They sold them for a while with another name (star marines or something) and I got two or three packs. Having the starfleet logo on the shoulderpads, they can't sell them without a license.

Resurrecting an old thread... has anyone got any of these? I was sure I had a catalogue with at least some in but can't find it. One catalogue front has a single pic but none of the range inside...

Not those ones, sorry.

I do have about four or five of the Babylon 5 boxes, although I've never painted any. I stumbled across them in the loft the other week, a fun blast from the past.

I seem to remember the B5 figures were pretty small, even back in the day, but I don't know if that was common across the whole range.

I think I've got a set each of the lighter armoured guys I could be tempted to part with.  They'd need paint stripping though.
