BOF Studios have released a range of Roman civilian types although unfortunately not up yet properly on their site. Catalogue page is here. The figures are very nice although properly proportioned 28mm as opposed to the normal chunky types.

I am really, really loving the scratch-built inventiveness and ingenuity. I love the millstone, not because it has anything to do with a battle between armies but because it is one of those subtle details that turn the battlefield from a generic table top into the illusion of a real place.

I can't wait to see all these projects put together on a gaming table together.

little piece of terrain makes always the bill 

Need time to prepare the scenarios to use with the town.

I have in mind to feature my city more in Ostia than in Rome for being original.

But i need to built some docks warehouses and some quays but who says harbour says boats !
So i'll need to scratch-build one or two roman transport boats then

ho, yes. They have some simple transport boat but i have in mind this kind :



but i need some courage to start the first one.
I still have some ideas to start the boat project but actually working on "desert" tents i would to finish it first.
