Oh, I pre-ordered them and went at Salute, but I didn't know I could get them there...  :'(

So, random jokers at Salute could buy 'em before we who pre-ordered get to see 'em?  Pfui.  Unavoidable, I guess, but still a little disappointing.  I'll be hovering around my mailbox until they arrive.

Can't wait to hold them in my hands.  Got another Innsmouth game on May 15th, and I will NEED to have these wonderful fishy critters painted up before then.

Thanks, Geronimo, for taking the helm and making them available to us.

As a 'random joker' who attended let me just confirm that sets were pre-ordered and collected at salute. What's disappointing about people saving postage charges???  ::)

Anyway, I got mine and they are lovely. Not unpacked properly yet but will post up as soon as I have.

Pre-order-ers are not random jokers.

Nope, definitely not random jokers: I had seven sets left from the first casting run after all pre-orders were in. Of those seven sets, two more had been verbally pre-ordered by friends I was due to see on the day. As the deadline for pre-order discounts was the 24th/Salute, I decided the remaining five sets were fair game for sale to anyone who asked me on the day. And all five of those sets were sold to people I knew and who had expressed an interest - not a single set went to anyone "random".

Besides which, as Griffin only got the castings to me on the 22nd, even without trying to move house AND prepare for Salute in the same one week period, I'd have been pushed to get the pre-orders out to anyone any sooner.

mine arrived today, and i can report that they are indeed lovely!

I was surprised also by how large some are, much more imposing in the flesh (so to speak) than i  got from the photos.

will get them on the painting table asap and ready to go as full blood deep ones in my strange aeons games.

i heartily recommend them to all LAFers.

Yes, please paint them up and post them quickly.  I am a decent painter technically, but am just not as artistic and inspired as many on this list.  I would really like some colorscheme ideas to borrow for these nice castings.

Geronimo, I would have done exactly the same as you did if I had been in your situation, so it was unfair of me to voice disappointment.  Now I'm just very grateful to Fenris, and eager to see the white metal.

Yup, 40 and 50mm versions of the bases are on the immediate to-do list; as soon as Snuurg's recovered from his house move he'll be putting the finishing touches to the Dinictys and Shark and they'll be headed for casting....

Got them today, and I have to say they are NICE!  :-*

As a side note, the "Lost Shores" bases are very good too, those are recessed so its possible to fill 'em up with clear resin after painting. Need to get more when the big ones are available, I luckily managed to get HLBS deep sea divers before they stopped producing them.
Currently painting: Black Hat Three Musketeers range.

Very nice figures. I'm curious about these lost shore bases. Any picture? Are they available for sale anywhere?

They're not listed yet but I think Geronimo said that these would be available from Fenris Games
