Fatgoblin was wanting me to post this compairson of Chronoscope figs with other Future lines.

From left to right.  Foundry Street Violence Male and Female, Reaper Chronoscope Male and Female, Void Male and Female, Copplestone Future Wars Male and Female.

They seem like a pretty reasonable match for the other lines.  They are on the large side compaired to the Void figures but not beyond the range of human variation and all the other lines are a bit bigger than the Void figs as well.

Nice!  I was a bit worried about the size myself after seeing how big their wierd world war two range figures are... that was quite a disappointment! :'(

The Chronoscope figures look like they are going to fit in well with other pulpish and sci fi figure lines! :D

Thank you for posting the photo Ironworker! :)

Reapers Chronoscope is actually more in scale with their other line where both the Foundry Street Violence and Copplestone Future Wars are larger than other lines from those companies.  I'm sure if Reaper had made RoTD smaller like a lot of the historic lines out there the fans of their other lines would have wondered what was up.  Both the Chronoscope and RoTD lines are bringing things we can 't easily get over here in the U.S. scaled to the miniatures we can get here not ones from other countries that are harder to get.

I understand where you are comming from but RoTD minis are on scale with other lines on the U.S. market.

Personally I'm in the "Great Deal of Human Variation" and "Eyeball Scale for Wargame models" camps but there are limmits yes.

They all look fine together and it looks like the Voids are on a par with Hasslefrees.....

That's a great pic!

We need more like it for all the other periods like Pulp, VSF, Old West etc. Maybe a project for someone with a varied collection of figures?

As long as they are close, it's fine by me.  Realistic size variation just adds another layer of 'realism'.

RoTD figures are almost 40mm though aren't they?

Seeing as Kev scuplted most of the Void ones it's hardly surprising! ;)

D'oh!  >:(

That being the case, I will definitely be getting some Void stuff, as I rate him up with the Perrys, AKA The Gods of War[gaming]  :)

The trouble is there are so many figure makers now, with different sculptors flitting about from one to the other that I lose track of who is doing what for whom!
