Greetings from Bielefeld / Germany
« on: 26 February 2014, 10:30:01 AM »
Hey,

I started wargaming, like the most of us though, with games workshop products.
First I played Warhammer Fantasy Battle and after One and a half year I tried the new edition of Warhammer 40k.

I even play this system but it's very expensive and in the official Games Workshop it's prohibited to use non-citadel-Models.

On some online shops I found a lot of nice Models and I was very interested to bought some of them.

Since a lot of Time Iam very historical interested, so I tried to find Gamers in my Enviroment they're would be willing to try some new systems based on history.

Then I found some, how are started with a new Project in the napoleonic era.
Now this is my actually Project:
Napoleonic Era based on the Grande Armé Rulesystem in 1/72 Scale.

3 Days ago I was with another Friend on the Tactica Hamburg, he introduced me to a few People.

One of this Guys gave me a Button of this Forum ;)

So now I'm here.

cheers
Arligan

Hello and welcome to the forums. For obvious reasons I can't acknowledge the existence of your home town but I'm sure you'll find lots of napoleonic projects here to inspire you.

Hi Olli,
Nice to see you here. So it was the right decision to take you with me to Hamburg I guess!
The "one guy" who gave you the Button was the Prof himself  ;)
Cheers
Jan

Even Angela Merkel says there's no such place.

Welcome! (Wherever it is that you really hail from).  :)

Even Angela Merkel says there's no such place.

Good news for the Bielefeldians then - the alternative would be to have her full and unrestricted confidence. And we all know how that works out.

I'm pretty sure it exists. I spent some time in a town that called itself Bielefeld many year ago. Of course it may have been lying.
