Scaffolding on a medieval church
« on: 02 March 2014, 08:37:54 PM »
Greetings everyone,
Havent been here in a long time...recently started a table for the middle ages. Here are some shots of some scaffolding on my medieval church.

Welcome back Captain. Second time this week I came across a thread with a church and some scaffolding. It is a brilliant idea and I will steal it  :D. Very nicely executed.

Cheers,
Za

Great work!  :-*

One thing though, dunno if it applies to medieval buildings in your neighbourhood but many times (at least over here in my neck of the woods) the scaffolding was directly supported to/in the wall that the builders built. That is to say that even today one can see the places (= beam holes) of the support beams in the wall. So the scaffold was not a free standing structure.

Nevertheless, enough about my nit-pickery. Do show us more of your splendid work.

Great enhancement of the building, allows for use in games and is different!  Two thumbs up!
