Plot points and lab accessories

Playing around with some accessories for pulp plot points

Some mad scientist-type laboratory machinery, weapons, etc... assembled from a variety of sources- kids' plastic toys and jewelry bits.

And next some altar accessories.

Brilliant stuff!

The craft jewelry section of Michaels has many wonderful little items. The cabinet hardware section of Home Depot is also a great source  of slightly larger items. Silver door knobs work well as futuristic looking machinery.

Excellent! I like the effect of the green ball atop the pillar, and those dribbly candles are great, too!  :-*

Great stuff.  Love to make odd bits with found items in the house.

Thanks, all.

I like to think I have pretty good Treasure Hunting Skills...  ;)

I regularly hit all the usual suspect stores - thrift, craft, discount, hobby, hardware, fabric, etc.  And flea markets and garage sales (aka boot sales) in season.

Will have to cruise the cabinet aisle at lowes or home depot next time I'm there. I could use some clunky, bulky furniture, consoles, etc.; gotta have something with dials and lights for the minions to stand in front of and endlessly monitor...

Already tweaking the lab pieces shown above... Need more cables, tubes, wiring, and maybe some control wheels or large dials. And a Big Red Switch...
