It would be a very ambitious project for me, but you seem to have things under control. I'm enjoying the updates.

Thanks for that and not sure it felt under control when had a very watery mix of plaster and no more plaster to add:)

Only fitting should have done some work on the boards today's grabbed a spare half an hour to start putting the polycell coarse finish over the top of the plaster. Then sprinkled sand and a few stones on.

Have also been working on a dd tank. When I get round to flocking the bases will also be sprinkling sand from the ral sword beach on as well, that brought home from my last trip there.

All feedback welcome as ever.

Evening,

Have finished the polycell stage with sprinkled builders sand a few stones over all the coast boards and thought it was time for a few photos.

Al the boards laid out

Ground level view of the beach with Riva Bella to the left and periers ridge behind the beach.

View from the coast.

View from the front of a LCT

View behind Riva Bella along the coast.

The next phase for me will be painting the boards and will then be putting the embossed plasticard on the sea wall and doing the beach.

All feed back welcome.

Hi,

Well the clock is ticking as ther are less than 50 days to go. Thankfully a good friend of mine Mark, (aka Dr D'ath on her and the LAF) was visiting and has assisted this weekend in creating Hillman. I have been gradually increasing my terrain building time and have been flocking the bases over the weekend and creating the beaches.

We were discussing the construction of the boards over the weekend and happened to mention that had plastered and poly rippled the boards , which Mark found hilarious and is of the view my boards will survive the apoloclypse.....

Perrers ridge

Hillman - my only input is the design the scratch building is all down to Mark

Beaches being created

Flocking well under way

The first of 14 finished boards

As the clock ticks will be updating on a very regular basis and all feedback is welcome.

Cheers

Phil

Hi

Photos of the finished boards and thanks to Mark aka Dr D'ath for his assistance in putting the game on and at various stages of production.

Will post photos of the game and a brief AAR.

Cheers

Phil
