« on: 11 March 2014, 04:22:35 AM »
Hi Chaps

Finished this battalion of Royal marines. Old Glory miniatures that have been gathering dust for a decade.

Feel free to pop over to have a looksie.
Cheers

Do they still make them?

Not bad for Old Glory. I agree with Ged  - they do look good en masse.

Gary - I'm working my way through quite a batch of Victrix plastics with the metal heads. Worth a look...

Yes - Old Glory still make these Marines. They are from the War of 1812 range - which is probably their best Horse and Musket era range.  The Glengarry Light Infantry and Militia are fantastic.

Thank you. In the absence of any photos on the OG UK website do you have pics of any other War of 1812 pieces?

Not yet I don't. I have Old Glory US riflemen, line infantry, Kentucky Volunteers and Militia painted and will do a posting of them at some stage in the future. However, you can see unpainted versions at
British 1812

USA 1812

The other great range is Knuckleduster Miniatures
