Furnace filter in Europe?
« on: March 12, 2014, 12:51:26 PM »
Hi, I'm interested in knowing if the furnace filter
(pls see the model bocage at
http://www.ucs.mun.ca/~tmarshal/terrain/bocage/bocage.html

is available in Europe/Italy.

Thank you!
Marco

If it's what I think it is, you should try googling for 'filtro per cappe d'aspirazione' - mostly made of metal grating these days, but you still should be able to find the polyester kind.
I like my games like my orange juice: pulpy with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners

Gnome,

yes, it is.

But what is usually available is a thick "hamster bed", very useful to reproduce white smoke on the battlefield.
Whot I'm searching for is the type made of fibers, as in the link I posted.

anyway, thank you!

The original foto you linked to is very tiny, so I based myself upon the description.

Is it more the material in the pictures below you're after ?

Try looking in aquarium/pond shops and the like for those kind of filters. These seem to be use in the 'Koi' community.

Over here they're called 'japanese filter mat' or PPC filtermat 120 x 50 x 3,8 cm cost € 23,50
