Ditto, Blue is great all round but his colour choices (and indeed brightness of) is his trump card!

The green guy is standout for me! But the black, wow!

Both look great. Blue are those Clam's figures? If so, I need to get some to add to my chaos dwarves.

Blue has done another fine job on his trademark dwarves :)

I like the bold outline on the Reaper stuff as well. Are the barrels Bones also?

Thanks Dr. Mathias. Figures and treasure chest are Bones. The dungeon walls and barrels are from Dwarven Forge 8)

@Calimero....an excellent scene...the beholder is an impressive monster and the terrain looks like a blast to play on.  Well done all around.

Both look great. Blue are those Clam's figures? If so, I need to get some to add to my chaos dwarves.

Yes these are all from Clams line of figs...I can recommend them highly enough...:). This is a mix and match of heads and weapons from the general release and the great weapon models.

Thanks to all for the kind words!

Cheers,

Blue

Nice job on both entries! Such a contrast in styles, too...

Blue, your shading always impresses me. I wish I had your skill.

Those Dwarfs really are an inspiration, love the colours, and will have to steal a few ideas for my own.

And nice work on the Reaper stuff, makes for a really nice scene

Great work on those dwarfs, Blue!

I guess this is basically a dwarfs against dwarfs match-up lol

I don’t really paint highlight and shading on my figures but I should have on these… Reaper Bones figures are nice but the details are quite soft in some places...

Excellent paintwork as usual Blue and a cool collection Calimero :-*

Both of a superb standard
Blue I always enjoy seeing your stuff
- you must be king of the dwarves, god knows you seem to produce so many

Calimero - those are really cool - i particularly like the dentists nightmare but the other figures are ace

Calimero, how did you like painting the Reaper Bones figures?  Did you paint them the "proper" way with no priming and painting right over the plastic?

I painted my first Bones mini for this round, but I prepped the figure the normal way and painted like I always do.  I tried to paint right over the plastic on another figure just to mess around and has some problems with the paint pooling and not staying where I put it, but I think I was watering down the basecoat too much.
