Hi all,

I'm having problems with the WWII paints that I bought two or three years ago and not one of the pigments have any coverage at all.... unfortunately I didn't use them until very recently and discovered their inadequacies! The two guys who I have spoken to, Matt (who promised to phone me back the next day and did not) and Phil(?) keep telling me that they have had no problems with coverage with the Foundry WWII paints when it is now well known (as I have discovered to my cost of late) that the paints are very naff at their best!

What a situation, I bought the whole set- well over £200 worth!!

I take it that a few of you have had the same problems and would be willing to show me some support by perhaps expressing what you feel below(?).

Darrell.

A big ouch on that one. I would say they are not fit for purpose although the time span may stop any chance of a legal recourse. I picked up a handful from their bargain bins a couple of years back and they are pretty ropey although a couple of coats of each does solve my issues. Most are my Foundry paints though are top notch. Is it all of them or 'just' a selection ?

Yup the WWII colours are all naff, got a few from the bargain box. Thought that they stopped selling them after that, due to the many complaints, but I may be wrong. As you say a long time ago, not sure of the time limit for the goods being fit for purpose.
