Long time lurker that's just joined up.
I've been painting for a very long time and I've painted something from most periods and genres.
Up until a few years ago I was speed painting armies to play loads of different games, a situation that had become a most unsatisfactory, so I stopped and sold off most of my collection. Now I'm just painting for the sake of painting and it's a much more enjoyable pastime.
Which sort of brings me back to why I joined this forum, this forum is one of the sites I would visit for inspiration when starting a new army because of the standard of the brushwork, now as I'm trying to improve my painting, it seemed a like a good idea to join.
