New Swedish WW1 and Interwar miniatures
« on: 01 April 2014, 10:13:53 AM »
It has been a long time since I posted last time. I have been playing DUST, working and stuff like that.

But now I have received (and painted) some new Swedish soldiers. They have a m/14 machinegun and can be used as soldiers from 1914 to around 1943. After that they can be used as Home Guards.

If you want to see more pictures and read more about the machinegun (it was used by many more countries), just follow my link:
http://adalenfigures.blogspot.se/2014/04/new-figures.html

There are more figures, I will show pictures as quick as I can paint them.

Edit: As Hammers points out the machinegun is a Schwarzlose.

Even more Win!

That's great, Björn. The M/14, that's a Schwarzlose isn't it?

Slowly, slowly my new figures are getting painted. The latest two to leave the chaos that is my painting table (my girlfriend claims it is our dinning table, but I know better!) is a observation team. As usual, more pictures on my blog:

Very nice - I just picked up 3 packs with the M23 cap. Will be using them for INEPTT!

Shawnt63: Good to hear, I hope you will be happy with them

And now I have uploaded pictures for the last 4 figures in the second batch of figures. They are now on sale. So what about the future? I don't now, but I'm right now planing of getting some more figures sculpted.

Aha, a very good question Commisssar Moody!
When I started I got a long list with things I wanted, but during these two years I have changed it constantly. I'm thinking of getting some heads with helmets and hats sculpted next. Most of them are for parade or stuff like that. Not worth getting a 20 figures just because they had a nice helmet with a crest that would never have been used in combat.

But these are things I would like to add to the range.
-Early Landstormen (Home Guards)
-Infantry in breeches and riding boots
-Early trench mortar
-Cavalry
-Nurses/Lottor
-Policemen

Would the infantryman in high boots have the same uniform as the Calvary?
I know I ask tons of questions  ::)
