Dougie,
Thanks, are they using the multi-cam currently in Afghanistan?
I assume you are playing Skirmish Sangin.  If I ordered a squad of British plus maybe a support weapon team or SF tram and maybe a dozen Afghans, will that do for most games?

                                                                                  Nick
Yup the British Army has been in MTP in Afghanistan since 2011/12, you'll need very few figs for SS, 2x 4 man fireteams is ideal, a good place to start organisationally would be a fireteam composed of 2 guys with SA80A2, 1 with SA80A2/UGL combo and 1 guy with a Minimi. A few Taliban and your sorted

After disappointment with Flying Lead I picked up the Skirmish Sangin PDF. I'm about a third of the way in and really excited about playing it. It's nowhere near as 'heavy going' as I expected. I'm looking to use DEVGRU vs PLA following my Empress KS purchase so I'll need to come up with something for the Chinese.

Hope you make an AAR for us. I hope to here more about Skirmish Sangin. I read nearly the half rules and hope to convince my gaming guys from it. It is more skirmish than a lot of so called games with a big touch of roleplay. Hope to get more Armylist from the makers of the game (africa '60 to '70, vietnam). I don't think it works with WW2...

I'm a long way off painting my moderns, though i have put together a list for a PLA squad. I was also thinking of using it for Vietnam. As the ground scale is 1" = 2m it would be easy to convert Vietnam era weapons and vehicle movement, etc.

Excellent work. When I first scrolled down it took me a couple of seconds to realise these were minis not an actual photo of real troops.

Which says great things for the sculpting and the painting.
