Enough of them to give private Widdle a run for his money.

I think Mike sculpted most of the figures for Mutineer miniatures, I'm sure some would fit in for the north west frontier scenario. THE CID.

Already thought of that, though most of the pics on the Mutineer Site seem to have disappeared into the ether!  ???

They will indeed come in very useful. I will of course be using the older Foundry Perry sculpts that IMHO have about as much character as it is possible to pack into a miniature 8).

Ok, so I received the miniatures and all had survived the postal running of the gauntlet except one of the swordsmen that North Star/Artizan have agreed to replace.

The miniatures are taller then the Parry Foundry sculpts (as expected really), but not as bulky. They are very much in the style of Mike Owen and I think are promising if the range continues with all that has been suggested on the forum.

No idea what's next but my money is on Afghan regulars though I think I'd prefer to see Some Indian Troops to be taking them on just for now!

I'll post up some pics as I go- painting up some Perry Foundry sculpts as I speak.

Darrell.

Second Afghan War.

I haven't seen any greens- to be honest I hadn't seen any of the Afghan Irregulars either but bought them literally as they were being added to the Artizan site! :)

Yep, got mine too. Lovely little figures, bought the command, both sword packs and only one each of the muskets and rifles.

I think opposition are coming next, so hopefully some Indian army and a smattering of Brits. I haven't seen any greens but believe Dewbakuk (if I remember correctly) has seen them before they disappeared into a mould.

As an aside, any idea what colours the irregulars flags would have been Darrell? I'm leaning towards a black triangular rag myself..

I don't think you can miss out the Scots! They get everywhere.  ;)

Did you get a chance to peruse the range at Salute Nick?

No!  :'(

 Before the show opened I went to the Wargames Emporium stand and enquired about them. The salesman took me to the rack to show me the packs but it was empty. He turned around to find someone had already bought every pack they had! This was even before the show opened lol

Gits.  ::)  lol

They really are lovely figures. There's the odd strange pose, mainly the ones lifting rifles up to fire, but there's some real gems in the packs too. The command and sword armed packs are by far my favourites.  :D
