Love my Kev White Hussars still... but you've done a great job of giving them a classic look!

Great work, though I still can't over the "Sweatin' to the Oldies" leg stance... lol

Thank you guys!

I am not too keen about the poses. At least these are the only ones in the whole WZR line that stand like this. Good thing is... this is what got me to base these (and all the other minis I will do) on thin MDF instead of the lipped bases the come with (since these are so spread legged that they will not fit the bases) and I am very happy with that.

And thanks for the nice comment about the bases. Wish I had known this technique when doing my Vikings! :-/

I was just about to make a comment on the stances, but you beat me to it  lol

No doubt these are more realistically proportioned than the old models, but I still think that the 'cleaner' style takes them too far away from the original 'feel' of the MC/Warzone universe. It was a techno-fantasy setting with lots of diesel-punk elements (now it seems they are introducing nuclear powered imperial walkers), after all.

Funnily enough, some of the new Imperial releases look much closer to their old counterparts than the Bauhaus and Capitol models.

I think the style is a mixed bag. I like Bauhaus, Brotherhood and Imperial since I feel they are true to their old design ideas, but took the necessary step forward. Dark Legion and Mishima are a huge improvement, since frankly... most of the old minis were crap. I think they overdid it with Capitol, but I think that was about the hardest faction to redo, since it lacked design consistency in any edition. Not sure about Cybertronic, but they never did anything for me in any edition, so I am not to judge there!
