Thanks again chaps  :)

Thought I would post the Miyoshi Big Man level four base (four retainers). Future Big Man bases will be sabot trays with the appropriate amount of holes for the level status of the Big Man in question, thereof it can go up and down depending what happens in a campaign. It also gives more options if the figures are based singly.

Different types of retainers can be chosen and each type confers certain, small bonus' that might make a difference if played a the right time  :)

cheers

What others have said, nice idea with command group and different bonuses and whatnots.

I guess that could be easily used in European setting as well, so it will be interesting to read your AAR then... soonish, right?

It could be used in a European setting but this was to help give some of the flavour of samurai warfare without tue necessity of major rules changes.

I think a game will ensue in a week or two (need to sort the cards out first)  :)

Sounds great!

But aren't you an early bird... painting/basing more samurais currently I hope or finishing new terrain pieces?  ;)

Started work again on a Sanada command base but using the 'new' system for Big Men they will be picked off and stuck on pennies and a sabot base made for them to go in  :)

Better pictures to follow when they are based.

Very nice Jim. Been looking at your stuff a lot lately as I summon courage to poke paint at my own Samurai.

I'm also trying to talk a boat building friend into using your Sekibune's as inspiration.  :D

Got one of the smaller boats done sans sail (I've run out of cloth  :? ) and have another with a coat of brown primer on it  :)

Got a few more Murakami figures to do and then it's game time  :D
