Are they lead or plastic?

The AOW plastics are really nicely done - albeit rather GW-ish.  I hope this is a plastic set, as it looks pretty good.  I agree the leader looks fantastic.  I don't understand why AOW only has two or three boxed sets though...they need to do a full range or not bother.  Kinda weird.

I think given time and sales they will expand the ranges quite a bit. Some great pieces out already from them. They may well be plastics.

It's very expensive to create plastic sets, tens of thousands it's said, so they just don't have the money to be able to afford it. It's also a very small team, one or two sculptors, so it takes time. Personally I think for a "one man" operation they compare quite favourably with the multi-million multi-sculptor outfit.

I know it's expensive...just odd that you'd even bother if you could only produce one set every year or two.  I wonder how well their premium resin stuff sells.  If I was playing a GW-ish game I'd definitely go to AOW for their dwarves...I even have a box for no reason.  lol  I like their stuff.

Their recent releases are restic (but better quality than mantics) they presently have:

Restic pathfinders (rangers)
Restic Thunderers (plus you can buy a crosbow kit which is a conversion of this box)
Hard plastic Beserkers (slayers)

They have already made but not yet released
Restic warriors and longbeards.

Personally I really love the top half of these guys but hate the legs....

Restic?  :( Shame.  I suppose I'd give it a shot, but I really liked their hard plastics.  Nice to see them flushing out their range.

all of those minis look great, but i wonder why they don't sell smaller boxes. I could understand for plastic sets, but for resin? I would love to have some chaos and dwarves, but less than a dozen per side!
