Just had a read trough of some of the Lotr stuff on the blog. Pretty inspirational. Definitely on my "watch" list.

Cheers!

Lovely. Games where the odds are stacked against have a perverse attraction to me.

You had me diving through my piles of lead, plastic, and books because of this... And it seems I've somehow lost Best of White Dwarf Fellowship, and Two Towers    :(

Dang - I thought I had a complete collection...

I ended up embarking on a new quest to see some of my huge LotR collection finished for the table - and just bought a big lot of MORE LotR minis at the bazaar (some of the nicely painted, though).

I blame you!  lol

Your pics just stroke a chord, and I couldn't get rid og the sound  :)

Of course, I also counted the extra plastic wargs I bought several years ago, and I have plenty for that particular scenario.  :D

More than happy to inspire  :D
I am trying to work through my own LOTR figure backlog, which I can barely see over the top of... I blame WOTR; I started collecting stuff to build armies for all the forces... ah well, they'll make for some titanic SBG games now!...

I have a lead pile of several thousand  LotR minis, Mithril and GW. I should get painting. Or do the honorable thing and realize that I will never see the bottom of it and as a consequence commit sepukko.

Those are some mean wargs!

Is your goal to game all the way through the books/scenarios in order? The Watcher in the Water board you have under construction looks exciting.

It was vacation here last week and whenever our 14-year-old daughter was at home there was a LotR or Hobbit movie on the TV, so I've been in quite the Tolkien mood and enjoying your pics and reports here and on your blog.

Always waiting for more,
Jevenkah
