I painted up the companion piece to this a little while back. Anyone wanting a big, aggressive-looking warlord or champion for a Sub-Roman or even Saxon force could do far worse than pick up this guy. The figure was a joy to paint.

I've decided to keep him as a desk decoration for myself, but whether I can resist seeing if he can change my luck at Dux Brit might be a bit difficult!

I did indeed! Lovely, inspiring stuff, yours. It's another one of the great things about the GB plastics - if you don't like what you get straight out of the box, conversions are so simple - and so rewarding!
