Perfect and more importantly it shows the inside which probably seals the deal for me.  I think I might finish Drake's Branch off with some Sarissa offerings instead of the latest 4Ground (lovely but far too expensive).  When I first bought Sarissa stuff it was all generic blocky buildings, and I was in a rush (which was nice - you can build a town in an hour with some glue).  I think I'll try to take some time and see what results I can manage with the blacksmiths, maybe the saloon, and perhaps a train station...

Lovely....

How do this building compares to 4Ground ones?

Is there any tutorial on how to paint these buildings?

Apples and oranges really.

4Ground
- Pre-painted.
- Far more detail
- Interior walls (double walled construction)
- Working doors/hatches etc.
- Much more time intensive to build
- More expensive.

Sarissa is much simpler, and I view them more as 80% kits.  Assemble very quickly, no fuss.  It's MDF so painting is not difficult, and it's up to the purchaser to really bring them to life.  No staircases, or working doors etc., but loads of character can be added by the end user.  If you stick to their simple buildings they're also far more cost-effective.  Though I did the math and if you go for liveries, and larger buildings they get a little too close to 4Ground.

I replaced by entire Sarissa set with 4Ground stuff, but I'd definitely consider buying Sarissa again at some point if it saves me some money.  Both are excellent companies I wouldn't hesitate to give money to.  I think 4Ground pushes the envelope much more, and you get a really cool final product, but as you can see from Gary's work (he used to do the images for their web page I believe) you can make Sarissa into equally nice stuff, just takes some elbow grease and some brushwork.

Battle Flag is similar to Sarissa, but with a touch more detail, and I don't recall the price differences.

I agree

Apples and Pears.  Pays your money makes your choice.  Cant comment on 4Ground, as I design the Sarissa kits.  What I will say, the Sarissa kits are designed to match the by-line they work by - effective simplicity.   You choose the colour and the level of detail, interior, damage you want to do to them.  If hinged doors and interior decoration are you bag...

As for the future...  watch the Sarissa sites etc...  more to come...  much more, ready and nearly ready and in the pipeline.

Game on
