Hi Lads
I need a new Project to do and a lot of my club members are doing VBCW which is great and in 20mm .

But i dont know where to start i dont have a clue about the period .As i play a lot of AWI naps and Ancient are more down my line ...

I just want to turn up one game day with my stuff and chip in so i would like to keep it quiet from them as they would all help me out but it would be nice to turn up with a Coy of figs for the game

..

So Can you point me in the right direction for some VBCW am looking down the lines of do some Somerset Freedom fighters to take on the Duchy and them royalists !

but must be 1/72nd -20mm .

so Thinking about farmer/Garderners type figs with cloth caps ect.. I like the look of of the bikes that Pappa Midnight has done but in 20mm so a platoon of m-bikes would look good and many be a support tractor with cider rocket launchers to scratch build ?

Do i go down the lines of late wwI or SCW or bit of both ? the late seams right to me .which are the best 20mm minatures to get am based in uk .

would love to hear from some of you and any pointer would not go a miss, do's and dont's

I can't help with figure suggestion in 20mm but are you aware of the VBCW forum?

Irregular have a 20mm range, Liberation do 20mm Black and Tans and IRA figures from the 1920's, in plastic Redbox do some Boxer Rebellion armed civvies that would do, add some Airfix 8th army heads with tin hats and you have a cheap army.
