Skyrealms of Jorune
« on: 02 May 2014, 06:23:39 AM »
I'm looking to source 25-28mm miniatures for player characters in the game – ideally with little clothing, or arabic style clothing, or minimal leather armour (as fits the artwork of the RPG)

I'm after-
* Female feline humanoid (ideally Cougar) with bow
* Male canine humanoid (ideally Wolf) with crossbow
* Male dwarf (or short human) magic user with empty hands and no beard
* Male human merchant with a crossbow

I've already been through the Reaper website – and would like some other options as well – their werewolf range is far too large in size, for instance.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have always loved the setting for Jorune, and have looked for figures in the past with very little luck, so will be interested to see what people suggest.

You probably find somthing suitable in the Alkemy line - the 'Khaliman Republic' faction has felines

I like my games like my orange juice: pulpy with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners

Those cats almost look like they were made for that range.

Closest I can think of is the Wargods of Aegyptus Anubis range - jackals in stead of dogs and bows instead of X-bows. Maybe a base for conversion ?

Sadly no. Jackals are too distant in shape from wolves. Possibly werewolves would do if they were human sized and using weapons

WOW Skyrealms, I have memories of that game.

Complex to say the least....

Will watch here with interest as to how you develop this!

The main problem with using werewolf miniatures - they're always giant sized.  If they were the equivalent of a human sized miniature, they'd be fine.

The West Wind Weird World War 2 werewolves might be more of a size you're looking for. They might be a head taller than a West Wind human.
