I have decided I like them. I've got to get going on my infantry so I can justify the purchase.

I think I've arrived at the same set of decisions, and will order a couple cavalry after I've finished my LMG crew and officer, who's about 85% done.

Well I was on the fence about liking them too and then made my purchase within minutes, I am a certified Quar nut.  “Down with the Crusades”!!

Personally, I think the rider will fly over the front of the beast every time it stops short.

So I have to ask: Why does everyone think this? Riders don't smash into the necks of their horses when they stop. You don't ride a horse up on its neck. The saddle and stirrups keep you seated and you, you know, hold on!

WOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH Nelllie......  well even thought I was on the fence on them I am glad they are something that I was not really expecting.  Graet Job Josh.

I almost went over a neck of a horse only once.  and that was because the dam thing jumped a fence and I was not expecting it but as Headzombie said hold on

Hey now, you need to give us the skinny on the quar vehicle you mentioned over at Frothers! Has it been previewed anywhere? Did I miss it? I have some 1/35 kits I was going to bash up but I'd like to see yours first.

It's really close to public release. Keep in mind that Josh is a one-man shop doing the sculpting and casting all by his lonesome. The running joke, though, is that it'll be out "any day now."

I've seen it, though, just to rub it in...  :P

Whoa! VERY weird in a grand sort of way - do they have a name? Dunno, something like Hammerhead quarbleats? Lovely stuff - they might be the strongest argument to convince me to get some Quar.  8) 8) 8) :-*
There I go quoting myself again. They proved to be too good for me - I finally descended into the Quarzone with an order for a cavalry pack of 6. And some bits, one can never have enough bits. As a fop to my conscience, I have decided to only ever purchase models which are mounted on beasts or vehicles or fliers. Although I could always do a transport and get foot troops riding in it.....  :o
