First Napoleonic mini British Penisular officer

This is my first crack at a Napoleonic mini, its a brigade figure, also my first horse.
No base yet as I'm not sure which way to go, all I know is I want to base him on his own so any advice welcome that goes for uniform too.

Been a while but finally based the figure Colonel Thomas Ponsenby

Very nice, and the basing looks very good as well. The light has possibly drained the colours a little in this photo when compared with the first, but the horse and figure look great all the same.
