Looks good. The 3d window details and the pebbledash make a big difference. Unfortunately, like all mdf building kits (of whatever persuasion), it falls down at the point where you can see that the building is essentially constructed from a 2 dimensional material. In the case of your (otherwise splendid looking) piece, it's the crenellations on the tower that let it down. I find it very hard to get past this 'but I can see it's made of cardboard' factor - which is why I will never buy an mdf building - unless they miraculously discover a way of making stone walls appear three dimensional!

That's largely my problem too. One of the things I've been thinking of doing is to get a few of the Sarissa buildings and then strategically replace some of the MDF sheets with good-quality foam texture brick sheets, leaving me with a variation in textures.

I've just built a timeline miniatures farmhouse - that got a coat of tetrion/polyfilly to try and break up the flatnees (and it helped hide the corner joins). My finances are a bit strained, but I've looked at those petite properties before - they look very good, and your church looks even better

I think you will get a bit disappointed, when you begin to highlight the pepples. Imo the grainsize is a bit to rough for the effect you want to achive, or to small if you wanted to go on fieldstones. We will see. The church at all looks really great especially for that good price!

I think you are tricking us with 2 different lots of pebbles. There are big chunky ones in the first pic and then fine grain ones in the painted/undercoated pic. 

That aside, bloody marvellous!!
