They were licence made as 'Action Man' in the UK and I'm old enough to remember them when there were only the original U.S. uniforms for them.

Many happy years of play out of them though... so thanks D.L.! RIP  :'(

What a shame!  Man, there was nothing better than getting one of those coffin shaped boxes as a kid.  I had relatives in the U.K. send me the Colditz Action Man set.  I was the only one on my West Coast Canadian block with a Nazi G.I.Joe!  That same amazing parcel, by the way, contained the War of the Daleks board game.
