Just to answer some of your questions:
Availability is probably in 3-4 weeks (1 week to UK for moulding, 1 week mould-making and casting, 10 days back to Germany).
So once they are ready I will let you know that you can spend your hard-earned cash ;D

As stated the adults are 28mm - a bit smaller than the current Copplestone 30s. The children are between 15 and 20 mm. I have no idea how tall Artizan or Pulp miniatures are as I haven't got any of them but...
Chinese often are a bit smaller than non-Asiatic people so they should fit in with any miniature collection in 28 - 30mm.

The three little buggers form the famous "pigtail parade". It's directly modelled after a contemporary photo done by a German in San Francisco between 1895 and 1910. So there are more to come as it is a real treasure trove for models like these.

The pigtail parade was quite common as the little ones could roam freely in Chinatown but in order not to get lost they held each other at their pigtails. Normally they would be spaced out more but I doubt people would buy 3 different children you could put together.

Something you can't see on the scans:
The little girl's basket is filled with lobsters. And the guy with the two baskets is a "chicken man" so there are a few chicken heads popping out of the baskets.

Hope this helps a bit to enlighten you more

Cheers
JO

There is no UK outlet. But it's no problem to order them from
www.obeliskminiatures.com once they are available. I think some of the UK-based users of this forum can comment on my service.

As long as you are ordering from within the EU, it's really no problem...

I don't know how it is for someone ordering EU products from outside Europe, but it is a b.tch for someone inside EU to order from outside... I've been burned by customs TWICE in less tha 30 days (About £30 each time, ouch!)...

But Obelisk will get my attention in the Fall... in the meantime I've been sucked into contemporary/near future gaming, and I'll have to get the GangStars to complement the Thugz I got from Armourcast.... and the Lords of the Jungle... and the baboons... and the hyenas.... in addition to these celestials  ;D

Does the meaning of "I" is that we can expect II and III ?

Basically the plans for sets II are done. If they see the light of the world - means if they are done sculptingwise - depends on the response of the public. The experience shows that a lot of people post "will buy" but never do that.

As I have to outsource all moulding and casting it is quite vital thta people buy - struggling hard not to go down like olley's Armies.

Totally understand that...Hopefully you have hot a gap in the market and throngs will come flooding to your door...

I think they are great figures...Whether I buy depends on whether the car passes its MOT, horses need the VEt etc... So touch wood you will have my pennies when the figs come out...

HA HA I know that from the time as I work in a Hobby shop .
You hear a lot of `´must have`´ and ``must get`` but you diden´t sell a lot of them .
Anyway please let us know when the figures are in your shop .
