Battles at Важно полустанке
« on: 31 May 2014, 06:34:12 PM »
We had our Big Game today, two tables with 4 players on each, plus me coming in late wih an armoured train.

The "brave" French interventionists and their very reliable White "not bandits at all", failed to beat off a concerted attack on the village by the Reds where the French were due to meet with a senior White General.

Meanwhile, the White forces outside the village held the railway line against the Turks and their Don Cossack lackeys, long enough for the armoured train to arrive and steam across the battlefield with the White General on board.

Pictures to follow whilst they upload - and most of the players consume very un-Russian alcohol (though one player is drinking vodka!) and an Indian curry. :-)

The train and rolling stock is indeed from Brigade/Company B.

After a lte night talking bobbins with the lads, I'll write up the games and post them shortly.

A couple of mates have also provided photos so I'll link to them.

Added some posts to my blog with more pictures, parts 1-3 as it is image heavy.
