My Fantasy Bestiary (added Bandits)
« on: June 02, 2014, 01:01:55 PM »
In this topic I will include the miniatures I have painted (and will paint) for my Warhammer Bestiary.
I use these models for my random monster encounters' during the mordheim skirmish.

I begin with some orcs and goblins. Including some female orcs too and a Troll.

I'm faithful to the original background, when orcs and goblins didn't reproduced with spores, so there were many female orcs and half orcs too.

I modified a barbarian miniature from Laughing Monk (Shadowforge). I simple included a new right hand with axe, a pair of fangs (with green stuff) and some severed heads.

It's WONDERFUL seeing your LOVELY pieces in more places than just Tom's Forum. The Green Folk are all BEAUTIFULLY painted in your own attractive style. I really like the Babes in the group. There are a few Laughing Monk minis I've been meaning to get for awhile...the Girl with axes is now one of them. GREAT WORK!

Love the orc babe.  :) Love the goblins.  :D Who makes the Troll?   :o
(I really shouldn't ask. My players wouldn't like it if I had another troll.)

Thanks, the other female orc (chieftain?) is a australian Maidenhead miniatures, originally not an orc but a feral elf, I simple painted her with green skin ;)
The Troll is a plastic Reaper miniature, however I'm not completely satisfied about his green skin, maybe one day I will do one or more highlights ;)

Stunning. Love the flesh tones on the Nurgly ones. And the female one. Who makes the female and the tall guy with the big horns and helmet. Again, stunning.  :-*

Thanks  :)
The beastwoman is a Feral Elf from Maidenhead miniatures, while the beastmen with helm is a simple conversion (just changed the hands) of a Reaper Miniature.

Really nice and weird miniatures. And you've certainly made painted them very well. I especially like the grinning Satyr/beastman. He looks like he is a real prankster. And the damsel in distress is great, too. Oh, and the flute playing lady is great as well...

Coming to think about it: I like 'em all. Thanks for showing.
