Possibly fastest cancellation ever - link, but they promise they'll be back (although the term "animated play experience" scares me more than a little)

They talked about IP in their post. My guess is that someone *talked* to them about how their figures come a bit too close to stepping one someone else's intellectual property, and then graciously took down the kickstarter rather than deal with the legal fallout... But that's just my guess.
