Thanks  :)
Yes, I must admit that it's really a fun league, now I'm painting the CV/35 tankette with some simple conversions, probably it will be the vehicle of Lieutenant Giulietta ;)
While for Capitan Littorio, I'm considering to order a Company B L6/40 and convert it in with the legs from the Company B Valkyrie PzKpf V Ausf B walker, to create a LC1/40 Light walker as did Agis in 15mm scale:

However the Company B walkers kits seem temporarly out of stock  :?

Here the modified CV/35 tankette  :D
I've just included a new gun, a radio control and two new drivers (the perry miniatures are really small).

Beautiful work on your CV 35. I like all the weathering, scratches and dings.  :D

That walking tank would be AWESOME!!  :-* :-*

Thanks.  :) Well, maybe it's not so far from the historical truth.  ;)
I saw a documentary about italians during the IIWW and seem that they really liked to chat with girls everywhere they go (greece, africa, yugoslavia, russia, france)  o_o
But Was the scooter yet available during fascism? Maybe just the prototype of Moto Piaggio 5 "Paperino" (nickname: donald duck) from 1943?

and mine was an ironic consideration too  ;)
However it opened the question about scooters, I didn't know they were yet available in 1943, just some prototypes done from piaggio however...

mhmmmm... some weird wars italians miniatures on scooters?  o_o

I decided to change the League, the paratroopers will have "BIG" skill, not dodge and finesse, but health at D8 and might 2d8, not bad for simple allies.

here the updated league:

The LEGIO PROMETHEUS of Capitan Littorio 14 slots
Perk (3): Bastion of Scienze, Garage

Leader (0): Centurione (Captain) Dante Littorio Volpe nickname "Capitan Littorio"
H d10 B 3d10 S 4d10 D 3d10 M 2d8 F 2d8 C 4d10
Abilities: Commander, Clever, Marksman

Sidekick (3): Capo Manipolo (Liutenant) Giulietta Bellucci nickname "BellaDonna"
H d8 B 3d6 S 3d8 D 3d8 M 2d8 F 2d6 C 2d6
Abilities: Quick Shot, Sharp

x2 Allies (4): Camicie Nere Scelte (Corporals) (Paride Lupo, Vittorio Re)
H d8 B 1d6 S 2d6 D - M 2d8 F - C 1d6
Ability: Big

x5 Gang (2): Camicie Nere (Blackshirts)
Capo Squadra (Sergeant) Galeazzo Musolesi nickname "Polpetta"
Legionari (Soldiers) (Antonio Fortunato, Giuseppe Berardo, Giovanni Guerzoni, Filippo Tecchio)
H - B 3d6 S 3d6 D 1d6 M 3d6 F 1d6 C 1d6
Ability: Armed

x5 Gang (2): Ascari Eritrei
H - B 3d6 S 3d6 D 1d6 M 3d6 F 1d6 C 1d6
Ability: Loyal

Models: 14

I should have gear points enough (if the dice will not be terrific) to buy at leat one vehicle:
Vehicle CV/35 RS/33 Tankette "Topolino"
Size 1 Passegers 2 Reliability d6 Special Light Gun, Hull Mount, Light Armor pts 3

I've yet a 1939 Lancia 1Z Armored Car from Criel Model, 1/43 scale... this scale is fine too for use with 28mm miniatures? I know that usually the correct size should be 1/56 or 1/48.
I could consider to include (later) this vehicle too and give it to the eritrean gang, if the size is good.

I read that some of these old armored cars were still used in the italian african colonies until the end of IIWW.

  • But maybe everything that dies, someday comes back
Sometimes 1/43 works, but other times I've found the models to just be way too big. It can really vary.

I think it's probably okay if armoured cars are somewhat oversized though. it's less likely that they'll look "wrong" than say, a regular car would.

The criel model 1/43th lancia is about 50mm high and 110mm long, while I read that the copplestone castings 1/55th lancia is about 45mm high and 92 long.

Fortunately, a lot of Italian girls, instead of wasting time chatting with fascist boys fought for freedom with the Gandhian non-violent method or using violent weapons
