2000 points Khorne Warriors of Chaos vs Orcs and Goblin Warhammer

Hello,

Played a fantastic game of Warhammer on Friday night with my friend Kenton and wrote up a battle report.

We played the meeting engagement scenario on a quick sand riddled plain somewhere near Khemri.

Nice report. Like the manglers damage. Reminds me of the old school pump wagon rules 2d6 s7 auto hits on a charge for 40 pts.

Wow those mangler squigs are dynamite!  I havent bought any as they are a bit pricey and made of "finecrap"  I may have to reconsider my aversion to them and pick a couple up.

I played against Chaos quite a bit during 5th edition.  My buddy didint have much crazyness other than the chosen Chaos Knights and a Bloodthirster.  I built an orc army based on my three B strategy:  Big Blocks of Boyz.  I had three orc units all with over 30 models.  I had one spear unit, one with choppa and shield and one with two choppas.  I had one unit of night goblins for the sole purpose of launching three fanatics at his Chaos Knights or Bloodthirster.  I had some spear chukkas and boar boar boyz and a small unit of black orcs too.  I won quite a bit of our games.  Most of his warrior units only had about 12 figures.  They just couldnt do enough damage to take out my rank bonus and my orcs would do just enough to hang in there until the warriors would break.

Thanks for the report.  I havent played a game of fantasy in ages.  makes me want to dust off my army  and get playing.

I have to confess that Fantasy has been my passion/addiction/obsession for coming up on 30 years. I still really get a kick out of building mighty armies and commanding them on the table top.
