That's a thought I have to forcefully keep putting aside.
My tramp freighter dreams keep becoming gaming table sized.
One day soon I keep telling myself.

Think bigger - the tramp steamer as the table!

This is a possible schooner! If you want to do some close up measurements to build a model, you can always hire it to explore the Gulf of Siam. I am very tempted but I need to buy the Corto Maltese cap first!

Here's one I was hoping to get, but sadly alas outbid.  :'( That's the seller's hand and the item photo.)

I would have removed the keel and cleared the deck and made her into a schooner for tabletop.

I've got these, but that one would have been the biggest yet.  :)

That Dhow is nameless in the book. The Sirius is a freighter (usually captained by Captain Chester, but sometimes loaned to Captain Haddock):

obviously, Captain Wolf bears only a physical resemblence to the other sailor, but  this is not unheard of  ;)
maybe his other name is Shevket

Think bigger - the tramp steamer as the table!

That's the plan. ;)

The Sirius would be just about right.

But I would have to square off the bow to give it that pre WW2 look.

That is just not fair!  Some people just have too much time and talent.  Gorgeous work.
