Then you may want to see what I just found;

 :D

Huh, so it's a trawler and not a tramp freighter. Interesting.

Still dead sexy though!

(Am I allowed to say that about a work ship?)

I don't see why a fishing trawler (type of hull configuration) cannot be a tramp steamer (type the shipping contract works). Trawlers were comissioned as minesweepers in WW2. Of course it would have to be cleared of the fish stench first.....

Oh and if you haven't seen this 28mm scratch-built one by Schweizer, check it out ASAP!

wasn't someone chucking out "nobel-prizes for scratchbuilding"? why did this one not get one?
totally amazing! thank You for bringing it up! it has totally slipped under my radar. were there any games?

No reason at all - she'd work perfectly fine as a tramp.

Turbo,
           That is great.  Coffee stirrers over poster board?

Coffee stirrers over cereal packaging! ;)

It's the same system I already used for my sampans!

Hi Mike, sorry, not a real tutorial, but there are some more pics of the sampans I already built the same way and even a short text here: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=51214.60
