My painting desk
« on: 29 July 2008, 06:33:28 PM »
I always get comments about my painting desk so I thought I would share and older blog post about it.

Enjoy!

Wow, that is a beautiful piece of furniture.
Your dad is quite the craftsman.
I am so jealous.

That's not nice, I'm jealous now.  >:(
Thank God, I don't have enough space to put up such a monster. Wouldn't even set an end to my messiness, I'm afraid.  lol

Here's my humble table:

YIKES!

Right now I am painting on a folding drafting table. It is patially covered by several kitchen organizers (for forks, spoons, etc.), that hold many of my paints and brushs. I also have a Paintier 80 like in joroas' photo. Two large ceramic floor tiles sit  on the table in front of me and are what I use to do my assembly and painting on. Two articulated lamps overlook my working area.

Several plastic storage drawers sit on the floor next to me and hold various items such as tools and unpainted figures.

Far too nice, neat and tidy. I'm surprised you can work under such appalling conditions! lol
Lovely. :)

My work area only looks that nice when I am taking pictures of it, otherwise it is a huge mess!   :D
