Very nice. Reminiscent of the old 2nd edition Citadel Slann so I will be very interested if they are released!

Good question.

IANAL but my understanding of the law is that while there would be a copyright on the specific design of the Citadel miniature from the 80's there is nothing to stop anyone else from making new designs for anthropomorphic frogs in mesoamerican battle dress - otherwise Alejandro Jodorowsky might sue GW for stealing the Lizardmen concept from Holy Mountain.
